Track and Field training occurs at Mile End Stadium. New members should ask for Alf Vickers or Margaret Nelson when arriving at reception. They will give you details and guide you to a training group.

In general, training times are from 5.30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. 
Please note that we are unable to take children until they are 9 years old. During school holidays, some groups may change training times.

The sessions are as follows (coaches in brackets):
  • 12 and over, Track: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30pm (Kelvin Richards/Margaret Nelson).
  • All age groups Middle Distance: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm, Saturdays from 10:30am (Cornelia Abe-Minale).
  • All age groups, Sprint and Hurdles:  Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5pm, Saturdays from 10:30am ( Alf & Claudine Vickers )
  • All age groups, Long- and Triple-jump:Saturdays from 10am and Sundays from 11am, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7pm by arrangement (Kelvin Richards).
  • All age groups, Throws: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm (Tracey Quartey).
Youth Training
UK Athletics rules generally forbid under-11s in traditional competition. It is our policy to encourage multi-event training for all under 13s. 
We expect parents to attend with children under 11 and do not allow children under 9 to attend. To expand our activities for this age group we want more parents to get involved but you will be asked to complete our volunteer declaration form as part of our child protection policy.

Youth Competition
If you join the Club, we aim to provide a minimum programme of one race per month. Through the winter we do cross-country and road running offering races in the Metropolitain League. In the summer we mainly focus on stadium based track and field competition in Southern Divisions of the Youth Development League, Throughout the year we offer entry to County, and for the very best, to national competitions.
